With 20 years experience as a full time farrier, Matt has worked with all types of horses from horses competing in advanced three day eventing to pleasure horses to horses that are pasture pets. He gives the same care to each horse and has a kind demeanor.

Living in Hopkins, SC, Matt services Columbia, Camden, Aiken, Charleston, and everywhere in between.

Matt has always been involved with horses. He rode in the University of New Hampshire's eventing program while he studied equine management there. He served in the Army at Fort Jackson and worked at a farm in Blythewood. After earning a Bachelor's in Science from Clemson University, Matt graduated from Kentucky Horseshoeing School in 2001 and has been horseshoeing full time ever since. He also attended Equine Dental School in Michigan.
